Mentors and mentees are matched based on professional interests. For example, a volunteer who is in the accounting field and is currently working in Canada will be matched with an internationally trained accountant looking for work in Canada for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>We look for professionals in all sectors and types of roles. Some current sectors we look for the most support with:<br \/>\nConstruction and Construction Management<br \/>\nEngineering (Civil, Mechanical, etc.)<br \/>\nBusiness Analysis<br \/>\nInformation Technology<br \/>\nBusiness and Marketing<br \/>\nMedical Labs<br \/>\nArts Management<\/p>\n<p>To learn more about this program, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nych.ca\/programs\/employment-and-mentorship\">click here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Need to Know<\/strong><br \/>\nType of Position: Virtual &#8211; Flexible Scheduling<br \/>\nLocation: Virtual<br \/>\nLanguage Required: English<br \/>\nTime Commitment: Minimum of 24 hours over a 4 month period. The schedule is flexible.
