Opportunity
At North York Community House, we believe that lasting change begins with consistent care — and that’s exactly what monthly donors make possible.
When you become a monthly donor, you help create stability for the people who rely on NYCH’s programs. From newcomer youth learning to navigate life in Canada, to isolated seniors finding connection and support, your ongoing gift ensures no one is left behind.
Monthly giving is:
- Affordable – You choose an amount that fits your budget.
- Sustainable – Your regular support allows us to plan ahead and respond quickly when needs arise.
- Transformational – You’re not just giving once — you’re showing up, month after month, as a trusted partner in community care.
Whether it’s $10 or $100, your monthly support helps fund language classes, job readiness programs, youth mentorship, seniors wellness groups, housing and food access, and so much more.

In Memory

In Memory of Howard Moscoe
We are deeply saddened by the recent passing of Howard Moscoe (November 28, 1939 – May 23, 2026), the long‑time municipal councillor whose leadership and vision were instrumental in the founding of North York Community House.
As the councillor representing the Bathurst‑Lawrence and Wilson Heights communities, Howard championed the open, community‑driven process that transformed an anonymous 1988 donation into a lasting investment in neighbourhood strength, newcomer support, and resident leadership.
His family has established a memorial fund in his honour, inviting donations to the organizations he cared about. We are grateful to be among them, and we honour his legacy by continuing the community‑building work he helped set in motion.
