For Individuals

Assist staff in our programs with greeting and registering participants, individual and group support, mentorship and more. Click on the links below for volunteer roles.

For Groups

As a United Way Anchor Agency, we offer Days of Caring group volunteer opportunities in May/June and Oct/Nov, specifically geared to United Way supporters. If you’re interested in a volunteer event with us at NYCH, please connect with us or your United Way representative.

Help us build Comfort Kits, Winter Warmth Kits, Personal Care Success Kits (Hygiene Kits), or Holiday Gift Kits for individuals in our community with our kit building partner Kits for a Cause. It's a great way for groups to give back, bond as a team and see the impact that they are making locally. Students looking for placement opportunities

NYCH takes a limited number of Social Service Worker, Social Work, Child and Youth Worker, TESL, and Creative Industries students for Fall, Winter, Summer, and Full year placements.
