Earth Day at Downsview Park

Downsview Park invites you to join them in celebrating our planet and the environment on April 27th, 2025, at the Play Zone at Downsview Park. This event is free to the public. This event will take place rain or shine!

April 27, 2026 | 11 AM – 4 PM | Downsview Park (29 Robert Woodhead Crescent, North York, ON M3M 2Z4)

Bring your family and friends to enjoy some hands-on activities, opportunities to learn and connect with their education staff, vendors, and much more. This event is a great opportunity to learn about ways to reduce your environmental footprint, connect with like-minded individuals and organizations, and celebrate our planet. Activities include:

• Tree Planting with Nikibii Dawadinna Giigwag (NDG)
• Invasive Species Management
• Guided Nature Walks by Toronto Field Naturalists
• Trishaw rides offered by Cycling Without Age
• Drop-In Seed Ball Making and Greenhouse Activities
• and much more!

We encourage you to sign up on Eventbrite to let us know you’re coming! Registration will be required to attend certain activities. Check back frequently as new activities may be added. French language service is available upon request. Please let us know.
