NYCH has been supporting communities that have been forced to flee their homes and countries because of violence, war, and persecution with specialized programs and services.
At NYCH we not only help children, youth, adults, and seniors settle into their new lives in Canada but also work together to find ways to heal from the trauma of war and displacement, building communities where all belong and thrive.
If you are a refugee, the Government of Canada recommends that you visit a settlement agency like ours during the first few weeks after arrival. We offer support for you and your family so that you can begin building a new life in Canada.
